The week began with a mini-conference on Internet governance and global commerce. Four visiting speakers presented on issues of financial services liberalization, digital domain name governance, civil society’s role in internet governance and e-commerce regulation.
Georgetown students created a communique on Internet governance that addresses infrastructure, civil society and commerce to be posted next week following a second round of negotiations.
