Welcome to a blog about the Trade, Technology & Development Graduate Summer Study Abroad Program in Geneva, Switzerland run by the Communication, Culture and Technology Graduate Program at Georgetown University. The program started in Summer 2007 and continues for the fourth summer in 2010, taking undergraduate and graduate students to Geneva for an intensive three-week, six-credit graduate program. The program is directed by Dr. J.P. Singh from Georgetown, and we partner with the Graduate Institute in Geneva to offer the program. The program is unique among other international affairs programs in that it looks at technology’s growing and dynamic role in developing country economies – such as in creative industries, telecommunications and other services. Program dates for 2010 are June 24-July 13. Refer to the CCT Geneva website for more details about the program and to sign up for our mailing list.
Applications are currently available for the program. Applications for early deadline are due at OIP and WTO internship consideration by December 1, 2010. The final deadline is February 1, 2010.
Program participants post entries about and photos from their time in Geneva in this space, so stay tuned in Summer 2010 for more entries from Geneva!
